![]() ![]() ![]() Firing while locked onto a target does not, in any way, guarantee a hit as it locks on to the center of the enemy vehicle and makes no calculations for the movement of you or the tank in the sites. This is activated using right bumper with standard controller settings. Target locking is what most of the posts are referring to, which is a controllable feature of this game and it locks your gun onto a target and then moves with that target until it is lost due to cover or it is no longer detected. This is most easily seen by comparing the mechanics of your gun when you aim at a green and then a red tank. Sometimes this is also referred to as aim assist. Semantics coming here, but it should probably be mentioned to avoid confusion:Īuto aim is the inherent property in most shooters (WoT included) that is the pulling effect on the gun when you are near an enemy target. ![]()
